As Australia’s leading SIDS research funding organisation, they are making a powerful impact—supporting groundbreaking research, educating families on infant safe sleep, and advocating for those forever affected by this heartbreaking syndrome.

Shine Blue 2025 marks the 14th anniversary of River Waddell’s passing to SIDS in November 2011. In his memory, this campaign shines a light on a devastating reality: despite progress, more than 100 babies still die suddenly and unexpectedly in their sleep in Australia each year.

Our goal for Shine Blue 2025 is to raise $65,000, which will directly fund critical research projects aimed at better understanding and ultimately preventing SIDS.
